If things keep going this way, I'm going to tell people I no longer check my e-mail address.... I'll delete my myspace...... and stop using AIM.

Why is that numerous "friends", mosly female, talk to me online, or send me e-mails like these:

Hey,
What have you been up to? My summers been fun, I went to _____ and last week I hungout with ______ and _________. When are you coming to San Diego?
I miss you, lets hangout!
~ Girl1

Thanks for your call.... last time we hungout was so crazy -
What are you doing this weekend? Wanna go shopping on Sunday?
Girl2

Is woman's ablity to speak on the phone deminishing? They can sure talk their heads off in person, which is a good thing if they're friends with a guy (which makes easy for me).

I think contacting someone has become a two step process. The first being the recognition of the premonition to communicate. The second step making the decision of when to communicate and by which mean of communication.

I don't like the idea of someone (usually a woman) deciding that the best way to contact me is to send an e-mail, or use myspace. If they don't want to tell me, or ask me now then its clearly not so important to them.

It's a blessing when I find out I'm not important to someone, then I can stop wasting time calling or making an effort. There are so many people I want to get to know better and so many things I want to do and places I want to see.... its great when I can knock something off my list. It's not that I don't like them.... its just that I've got other more important things to do.

Any thoughts?
